As our Claims Adjuster (Saskatoon/Northern SK area) you'll be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling personal lines, auto, farm, liability, commercial and injury claims in accordance with company policies and procedures in an assigned geographic territory.

**DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY, BY**:

- Plunging into claims with style, investigating claims, establishing adequate reserves, negotiating, and settling all claims in a satisfactory and equitable manner.
- Interpreting and communicating the terms of the policy to insureds, claimants, and solicitors. Reporting claims information to senior claims personnel and/or VP, Claims on claims in excess of prescribed authority limit.
- Answering routine inquiries from insureds, brokers, and adjusters with the freshest, up-to-the-minute information
- Handling claims adjustments over the phone with ease, ensuring our customers feel supported and secure
- Leading the way by training and guiding clerical staff, sharing your expertise, and creating a wave of teamwork and positivity
- Thinking outside the sandbox by taking on additional responsibilities with flair and showcasing your adaptability and dedication to excellence

**WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX**:

- High School Grad: Completion of Grade 12 education
- Insurance Wizard: Successful completion of at least two Insurance Institute courses along with a positive commitment toward completion of the CIP designation, demonstrated by completing two Insurance Institute courses per year
- Experience Counts: A minimum five (5) years experience in the industry
- Master Communicator: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail Detective: Fantastic detail-orientation skills to make informed decisions when it comes to claims
- People Person: Friendliness and interpersonal communication skills — the ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members and encouragement of company culture
