Together, we are building better bakeries. **The Bread and Butter of the Position**: If you enjoy driving, have an excellent driving record, a great attitude and strong work ethic, our Delivery Driver position may be your next career move We rely on our Delivery Drivers to deliver our artisanal products with pride and care to our customers ranging from small independently owned coffee shops and restaurants to large grocery retailers. Bonus points for previous commercial driving experience However, our Delivery Drivers drive 1 ton cube trucks so no additional licensing is required. Reporting to the Warehouse & Delivery Operations Supervisor, our Delivery Drivers are responsible for: - Loading and unloading product from trucks as per company policies and procedures - Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our products within the assigned geographical area - Taking pride in representing Portofino Bakery to our customers, demonstrating strong customer and relationship-building skills - Ensuring orders are dropped off accurately at each location and where applicable merchandising store shelves - Handling administrative duties including but not limited to dropping off orders, recording stock counts, returns, and issuing credits - Other duties as assigned **Shifts and availability**: - Comfortable with 10 hour shifts (e.g. our full-time Delivery Drivers work four 10 hour shifts per week) - Must be available to work Wednesday - Friday and Sunday - Must be available to start work at 5am - This is a full-time permanent position **The Ingredients You Bring to the Table**: - Previous driving experience - bonus points for commercial driving experience - Excellent customer service skills - The ability to lift up to 50lbs - A class 5 driver’s license - A clean driver’s abstract from the past 5 years, with no major infractions - Strong time management skills - Detail-oriented and an eye for merchandising - A willingness to learn and grow - A commitment to upholding company policies, compliance and quality standards - A commitment to punctuality and reliability, showing up to shifts on time and ready to work **The Details You’ll Loave**: - Starting wage of $24.00 per hour - Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 5am-3:30pm - Healthy and frequent raises - Medical & Dental benefits including Life Insurance after 3 months, if you work at least 30 hours per week - Access to complimentary "staff bread" to take home - Opportunity for advancement - Bi-Weekly Cell Phone Allowance - Bi-Annual Footwear Allowance - Paid Training - Comprehensive Wellness and Leadership Development Program - Uniforms Provided **Our Values and What We Expect From Our Breadhead Team Members**: - **Integrity**_ We keep it real — in the way we treat our customers, in the way we speak with one another, in the way we walk our safety talk, and in the way we make our products.
