**Your days will include**:
- Dry and Full preventative services as well as safety inspections
- Minor to moderate repairs
- Major repairs
- Performing on-site or roadside response
- Diagnosis and evaluation of symptoms and problems reported
- Troubleshooting technical faults
- Enter work orders, document time spent, parts list, etc.
- Communicate and provide updates to Service Coordinators
- Ability to work on a wide variety of brands and types of equipment
- Follow all safety guidelines and department SOPs
**To succeed in this role, you must possess**:
- Grade 12
- Red Seal Certified Preferred
- 2-3 years experience in heavy-duty mechanics
- Class 1 license is an asset
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Computer skills as it relates to diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze and prioritize repairs and maintenance items
