**Description**:
This position is a part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA).

Salary will be commensurate with experience in accordance with the Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) agreement.

**Location** - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.

**Position** **& Duties**

EDPY 303 - Educational Assessment

This course will introduce students to the complexity of classroom assessment as a means of supporting and measuring student learning. The intent of this course is to develop an understanding of important concepts and issues in the evaluation of a learner's knowledge and skills, and to develop competence in constructing instruments and processes to evaluate learner performance.

We are looking for instructors for the following specific sections:

- Monday and Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 12:50 PM, 2025/01/06 to 2025/03/07
- Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 AM to 12:50 PM, 2025/01/06 to 2025/03/07

**Minimum Qualifications**
- A strong K-12 classroom teaching background and demonstrated teaching excellence.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- A commitment to the University’s Indigenous initiatives, and principles of equity, diversity, and inclusivity.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience teaching undergraduate education courses, including serving as a teaching assistant.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Canvas, Moodle, etc.
