**Job Scope**:
The Merchandise Manager will work in a cross functional team and must possess strong interpersonal skills. This role will lead the product and merchandising strategies and will report to the Brand and Merchandising Director for the execution of product development and seasonal lines and may assist Sales in account management tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acts as lead point of contact for product development.
- With the direction of the Merchandising Director, this role will create and maintain a product development log, a seasonal road map and attend meetings with factories and Sourcing team.
- Will work with Sales team and act as Sales Support where required
- Will build strong working relationships with key cross-functional partners such as Design, Sourcing and Marketing
- Analyze sales and make recommendations accordingly, provide product rankings, and offer insight regarding sell thru and trends via data analysis
- Keep up to date with market trends with respect to relevant product categories and comp analysis of price points and offerings etc.
- Build seasonal catalogs with established branding guidelines as provided by Creative team, update, maintain and revise catalogs seasonally.
- Very good understanding of product development timelines and the maintenance of key critical dates to be ready for market with samples and catalogs.
- Coordination of information and projects between departments all in the effort to come to market ready with samples, sales material, line lists, catalogs.. etc and all tools required to support sales
- Support Sales and Account Management as required with all tools and brand assets to support sales efforts.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years working experience as brand manager in similar industry
- Proven track record of performing in a similar role
- Experience in working in a retail or manufacturing environment
- Up to date with latest market trends and adoption of best practices
- Excellent understanding of product and product development processes
- Super Organized with high attention to detail to maintain SKU level data in development of seasonal lines, with ability to keep abreast a constant changing market
- Ability to multitask and switch priorities on a daily basis while keeping all priorities going
- Team player, and fully autonomous to build internal relationships, with a team building and goal-oriented attitude
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, fluency in English is a must
- Manage and attend trade shows as required

**Education / Key Skills**:

- Must have working experience in similar position or in a relative field.
- Illustrator knowledge is a must
- Microsoft and Excel knowledge required
- Presentation building in Power point capabilities
- An entrepreneurial attitude
- Ability to multitask and capable to handle changing priorities
- Maturity in carrying thru tasks to completion with autonomy
- Able to work closely with cross-functional teams
