**The Role**

TEC Canada is searching for a Partnership and Sponsorship Specialist. This dynamic role will be responsible for securing and managing partnerships, as well as maximizing sponsorship revenue for a variety of initiatives across Canada. You will collaborate with internal teams to execute on agreements including event support, and delivery of agreed terms.

Reporting directly to the Director of Member Experience, you will be a key contributor to the team’s efforts in driving member satisfaction and TEC’s reach.

This position is based in Calgary, AB, and will work from TEC Canada’s office in downtown Calgary.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create, develop, implement, and manage a partnership and sponsorship strategy
- Maximize revenue generation for TEC Canada’s events and programs while delivering value and best in class experience, resulting in sponsor retention and growth
- Proactively identify opportunities with the aim of strengthening brand awareness through sponsorships and partnerships
- Develop and manage agreements and ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule
- Work with marketing team to develop promotional and event materials relevant to partnerships and sponsorship agreements
- Manage all contract negotiations, including agreement deliverables, final sign off and invoicing
- Benchmark and track all partnerships and sponsorships including summary analysis following events and programs

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience in fundraising, sponsorship, partnership and/or sales
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building ability
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to interact comfortably with a variety of C-level and senior executive stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think outside the box
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and on a team
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to work under tight schedules and multi-task effectively
- French language proficiency would be considered an asset
