If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy putting your own innovative spin on things, then we think this is what you were meant to do as Platform Calgary’s newest **Specialist, Partnership Engagement.** Reporting to the Director, Growth, the Specialist, Partnership Engagement supports the Growth Team to reach its strategic partnership, sponsorship, and fundraising goals for Platform Calgary. The scope of work will require a strong project management skill set as this role works with members of the Growth Team to develop and execute strategic engagement activities and communications to cultivate and retain our multiple stakeholder audiences. The audiences include Individuals, Foundations, Corporations, and Investors who are part of the Platform Partner Network or are funders and sponsors of Platform Calgary offerings (Events, Space, Programs). **What will you do?** - Strategy & Planning - Support the development of engagement and retention strategies, operating plans, and coordinate execution of cultivation and engagement activities for all our stakeholder audiences. - Engagement & Partnerships - Support the development and execution of stakeholder communication activities including supporting the development of reports, communication pieces, and collateral material - Work with the Growth team to develop and implement a systemized and achievable stewardship strategy, to strengthen long-term relationships with major donors. - Develop, manage and execute stakeholder engagement activities to further advance our relationships with Partner Network, funders, and sponsors. This will include: - Working cross-departmentally in the planning and presentation of recognition and engagement events, Partner Network events, Pitch Breakfast and Reverse Pitches that bring together founders & investors - Prepare impact reports, providing analysis and recommendations for future actions and improvements - Ensure that details of stewardship plans are compiled and communicated to all involved parties, and that the plan is documented and implemented. - Develop productive working relationships with all other departments to enhance the work of the Growth Team - General Support - Ensure HubSpot CRM and Nexudus Community Platform is kept up to date with pertinent stakeholder actions that advance relationships with Platform Calgary - Act as a resource for all of Growth Team members on upcoming priorities - Minimum five years of experience in project management and fundraising specifically stewardship and retention is required - Project Management expertise - Event organization & production experie - Personal attributes of entrepreneurship, creativity, commitment, hard work, patience, & a sense of humor - Emotional intelligence and comfort in a highly collaborative environment - Experience in direct/digital marketing and working in a non-profit environment - Attention to detail in your approach to work - Excellent communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with teammates, members, stakeholders and other players in the tech ecosystem. - Must be flexible and adaptable in order to accommodate multiple stakeholders; able to adapt to and communicate with diverse populations - Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment, adapt and be proactive. - Passion for innovation, community and entrepreneurship. - Competency in G-Suite, Asana, Slack, Eventbrite, HubSpot and Notion are considered an asset. **Who you are**: - You have the ability to work independently with mínimal oversight - You are a team player that is enthusiastic about working cross-functionally. - You have a passion for innovation, community and entrepreneurship. **During the interview process, we will be looking for**: - A high level of professionalism and ability to connect with others to build positive relationships and be a true collaborator. - Strong emotional intelligence, a high level of empathy and active listening skills. - Forward thinking - you can anticipate and act on the needs and requests of multiple collaborators/contributors. - Initiative - proactively create and follow through on new ideas and strategies. **Platform Calgary perks**: - **Hybrid and flexible work**: Our team enjoys the flexibility of hybrid work and flexible hours, so we can all do our best work. - **Great benefits from day one**: Health, dental and wellness benefits; RRSP matching program; parental leave top-up program development stipends and other perks - **Paid Time Off**: We offer plenty of paid time off, as well as Fridays off during the months of July and August plus holiday closure in December/January. - **A uniq
