XE INSPECTION INC. is a geotechnical engineering, material science, and environmental science consulting company. We provide ground engineering, design and inspection services to the mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, urban development, water and energy industries throughout the Wood Buffalo Region and across Alberta. Our team of engineers, geoscientists, and technicians were carefully chosen for their ability to provide quality, innovative engineering solutions to their clients in a quick and concise manner.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Aiding in the development of documentation such as Environmental Management Plans,

project ECO Plans, Care of Water plans, Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control plans.
- Primary tasks include wildlife/nest sweeps, environmental site inspections, water quality

monitoring, and fish salvages.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System.
- Supporting implementation, compliance, and auditing of project spill prevention and

waste management processes.
- Responding to and reporting environmental incidents.
- Develop work plans and cost estimates.
- Co-ordinate, supervise and execute field work.
- Prepare, review, and edit technical reports.
- Safety reporting and complete commitment to high safety standards
- Ensure excellent client service and foster strong working relationships.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Undergraduate degree in agriculture, biology, environmental science, reclamation or related field
- Applicable professional designation(s) or eligible for professional designation(s)
- Minimum 1+ years of field experience working as a QAES/Wetland Specialist
- Experienced in environmental approvals and permitting.
- Experience in contaminated site assessment, remediation and/or hydrogeology will be

considered an asset.
- Strong communication and excellent written and oral (English) skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including problem solving, decision making and stress management.
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
