Ganong continues to grow in the fast paced & competitive world of food manufacturing and is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator in our Finance Department

**Position Summary***:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will record and monitor corporate receivables, research deductions from payments, prepare freight claims and communicate with customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record daily receipts including deductions from payments.
- Prepare weekly cash flow projections.
- Prepare and deliver periodic bank deposits.
- Compile and submit freight claims.
- Review AR listings regularly and follow up on unpaid amounts.
- Perform credit checks on new customers.
- Authorize the release of held customer orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant data and prepare management reports.
- Other A/R duties as required.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience with accounting and business management software. ERPs such as Sage X3 is considered an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable principles.
- Competent in Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Great time management and organizational skills. Able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education.
- At least 2 years’ experience as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator or similar position.
