Oke Produce is a trusted name in the distribution of fresh produce, frozen meats, fries, groceries, take out containers and ect to restaurants, retirement homes, childcare centres, and various other businesses. With over 150 years of personalized service, we have built a reputation for delivering quality goods directly from our door to yours. We are now seeking a District Sales & Marketing Officer to join our team in and around the Oshawa, Peterborough region and other nearby areas.
**job Description**:
As a Sales & Marketing Officer, your primary responsibility will be to increase sales by qualifying prospects, providing quotations, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. You will take the lead in creating a positive sales atmosphere and helping prospects transition into loyal, satisfied customers. In addition, you will maintain and develop strong relationships with current clients to ensure their continued satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Increase Sales: Identify and qualify new prospects, provide quotations, and lead the sales process.
- Customer Engagement: Meet customers at their locations in Peterborough, Norwood, Lakefield, Lindsay, and other regions.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promote Products: Promote new products, market trends, and offer solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Customer-Centric: Work as a business partner to clients, assisting them with menu options and working closely with internal specialists and culinary advisors.
- Lead with Integrity: Cultivate a strong sense of cooperation and maintain high ethical standards.
- Travel: Daily travel to client locations within the territory.
**Requirements**:
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of produce, food containers, packing materials, and the produce sales industry.
- Sales Experience: Solid sales experience, ideally in the produce, hospitality, or wholesale industry.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead effectively.
- Problem Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer Service: A passion for customer service and the ability to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with clients.
- Integrity & Professionalism: Ability to conduct yourself with professionalism and adhere to business principles.
- Leadership: Ability to lead by example and create a cooperative team environment.
- Vehicle: Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
