KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
**Security Monitoring**: Setting up and managing tools to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents in AWS and GCP environments.
**Cloud Best Practices**:
Reviewing and maintaining security configurations,
enforcing least privilege,
leveraging cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, GCP Security Command Center).
**Automation**: Developing scripts or tools to automate repetitive tasks like security patching, compliance checks and automatic remediations
**Incident Response**: Leading efforts to investigate and mitigate security breaches or threats in multi-cloud environments.
**Access Management**: Implementing secure identity and access control policies using services like AWS IAM and Google Cloud IAM.
QUALIFICATIONS
**Skills needed**:
This role requires strong knowledge of AWS and GCP security services, cloud architecture, and familiarity with DevSecOps practices
AWS Security, GCP Security. Azure Security
Terraform
Python/Bash scripting
DevSecOps approach
CI/CD pipelines
IAM (Identity and Access Management)
Encryption (e.g., AWS KMS)
Automation
Cloud compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001)
**Education**:
AWS Cloud Practitioner (mandatory)
AWS Solution Architect (mandatory)
AWS Security Specialty (mandatory)
AWS DevOps Engineer (mandatory)
Azure Fundamentals (mandatory)
GCP certifications (a plus)
**Experience**:
Minimum 6 years on managing CyberSecurity features and services on clouds platforms
