**How You’ll Make a Difference**
As a member of Litco Law’s leadership team, the Manager, People and Culture will partner with leaders across our organization and supervise the development and delivery of all people programs. You will collaborate on key business decisions and help build our team according to Litco Law’s high bar for performance.
**A day in the life includes**:
- Building strong trusting relationships with business leaders and coaches to be an advisor, partner, and catalyst to achieve our strategic goals through development and delivery of people strategies and programs that embody our values
- Leading and developing a team of People and Culture professionals to support Litco Law’s people needs including recruitment and talent acquisition, learning and development, team engagement and retention, wellness, and other operational needs
- Working closely with People & Culture team to evolve and implement Litco Law’s engagement and retention strategy through learning and development, wellness and other initiatives
- Building relationships across the organizational and be available for support and coaching as needed by the team
- Acting as a leader within or advisor to the company’s engagement groups (Culture Champions, Litco LAB, Litco Cares, etc.)
- Supervising the management and administration of company benefits platforms including new team member orientation, terminations, and annual reviews
- Complete termination meetings and offboarding tasks, and provide strong transition support to managers and departing team members
- Complete regular compensation reviews and market benchmarking, providing recommendations to our Executive team to ensure the competitiveness of Litco Law’s total rewards packages
- Ensure Litco Law is compliant with all employment standards and responsibilities according to provincial and federal laws and advise business leaders in navigating complex or sensitive situations in accordance with our culture, values, and legal obligations
- Collaborating with the People and Culture team and individuals across the organization to ensure we continuously evolve our culture alongside our operational business growth, maintaining our position as a top employer
**Who You Are**:
- Have a strong background as a progressive HR Manager with a high-growth team
- Are known as a strategic, big-picture thinker with a reputation for proactive problem-solving and anticipating business needs
- Have a track record of building strong trusting relationships with senior leaders, and demonstrated ability as a business partner and coach in developing, engaging, and inspiring people toward personal and organizational goals
- Enjoy collaborating and finding ways to cheer others on and celebrate team wins
- Challenge the status quo and look for innovative ways to evolve company culture and capabilities
- Confident in your communication and facilitation skills with teams or large group workshops, focus groups, or training sessions
- Have strong experience in a variety of HR functions including full-cycle recruitment, learning and development, team engagement, total rewards and benefit administration, and company culture
- Are committed to lifelong learning and personal development, keeping current in HR practices and trends through external resources and networking
