**About the job**:
We currently have a growing production backlog of Trexos we need to build and ship to our eager customers While ramping up our production we need to ensure our quality, reliability and assembly simplicity improves. We are looking for an Electrical Lead who can help us build more Trexos while participating on improving our production process so we can scale faster.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of electrical stations within our production environment. Your responsibilities will include using hand tools to perform precise cable installation and wire routing, troubleshooting complex issues, designing and executing tests for PCBAs, scripting for efficiency, conducting maintenance and PCBA rework tasks as needed.

You will be the part of our production team, you will provide training to robot builders and occasionally you might assist in production testing and Trexos assembly to ensure seamless operations and expedited scalability.

This position is in-person.

**About you**:
You want to work in a small team solving a big problem while helping an underserved community. You love taking things apart and building them back. You are detail oriented and a fast learner.

**What you'll do**:

- Take ownership of electrical stations in the production line, ensuring their proper functioning and efficiency.
- Support a production supervisor on production tracking and planning.
- Collaborate with robot builders to troubleshoot and resolve more complex assembly electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Design and implement new tests for PCBAs to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and testing purposes.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep electrical stations and equipment in optimal condition, including electrical rework of PCBAs and cables.
- Provide training and guidance to robot assemblers on electrical systems and processes.
- Conduct PCBA validation to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Address electrical issues and conducting troubleshooting as well as generating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Assemble Trexo devices in the event of tight deadlines and shortages in staff.
- Troubleshoot production issues.

**Required Skills**:

- Associate degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in electrical technology or related field, ideally in electronics design for robot.
- At least 1 year experience in electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance, preferably in a production or manufacturing setting, including wiring or cable installation experience.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Experience with PCBA rework and handling ESD sensitive material.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to details.

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience in PCBA validation procedures.
- Experience with lean manufacturing.
- Previous experience with being part of a health and safety committee.
- Familiarity with robotics and automation systems.
- Medical device production experience operating under a Quality Management System (ISO13485)
- IPC/Advanced soldering training.
