Express Container Management is North America’s # 1 container unloading service provider, we have been in business for over 19 years with a very strong presence in various provinces and states. Due to the rapid growth throughout ECM, we are in need of an On-Site Manager to join our Quebec team.
This person is extremely important to the day-to-day functions of ECM as you will be building collaborative relationships with our clients while ensuring consistency in their delivery requirements are being met. The On-Site Manager will work closely with the field employees and other internal employees to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the recruiter, field employees and customers to deliver exceptional quality
- Lead and develop a structured team environment Manage employee schedules and resolve scheduling conflicts as they arise through continuous communication with the team
- Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures
- Coach and train employees and promote positivity and safe practices
- Increase the overall productivity of the team by training and eliminating inefficiencies
- Maintain prolific relationships with current customers and establish good relationships with new ones. Manage daily operations on your own and in a team environment
- Create a team atmosphere through leadership and employee development
- Ensure employee and client retention rates through active communication
- Perform other activities assigned by management from time to time
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Ability to communicate in both English and French is a definite asset
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel to various customer locations (must have own vehicle)
- Previous experience with scheduling/dispatching is an asset
- 2-year experience in a distribution center or warehouse in a supervisory role
- Must be capable of repetitive lifting when necessary, sometimes exceeding 60lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or in teams
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year

- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Greater Montreal Area, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Warehouse distribution: 1 year (preferred)
- Unloading/ Loading containers: 1 year (preferred)
- warehouse supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
- Dispatching / scheduling: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver's License (required)
