**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in daily logs.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and the public.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Must possess a valid security license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (required)
