Some sites are large, so you’ll definitely get your steps in We’re looking for flexible team players who can work days, nights, mornings, and/or weekends.Come discover our unique CARE culture and build a career, not just a job https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1f_poCvzvkHourly Wage: $18.50 - $21.00Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients, tenants and patronsWrite clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability and day to day reportsWatch for and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations and contact emergency responders as requiredProvide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)Perform regular foot patrols to ensure personnel, building and equipment securityExercise crowd control and evict trespassers   Core Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills  Excellent customer service skillsA strong working knowledge of non-violent crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques  Strong observational skillsAbility to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision Job Requirements 6 months of security experience and/or 6 months of customer service experience is an assetA valid BC Security Licence is required (we can help you obtain one through our in-person training on Vancouver Island)OFA Level 1 or higher is an assetStrong verbal and written English communication skillsGood physical fitness — ability to walk for extended periods (most sites)Class 5 or Class 7 BC Driver’s Licence is required for Mobile Patrol rolesMust be legally authorized to work in Canada LET’S GET STARTED #NO1
