**Merchandise Operation Manager**

Liaison between Technical design and Product Development on prototypes and Samples for seasonal collections. Work with Paul Farrington (VP of Technical Design)

Initial Review of new Prototypes and keep notes during fit meetings.

Manage Product Development Calendar

Work with Italian mills on special development needs

Learn new ways to design key items through networking or trade shows.

Maintain steady sustainable goals yearly. Learn of new standards, materials, technology, and communication on sustainability.

Set up Design forms and Initial inquiries w/ mills for testing fabrics.

Create new presentations formats for new collection (Rosa will then work w/swatch makers or Montreal for execution).

Work with manufacturing on testing new fabrics and creating notes in Richter

Prepare fabrics for scanning to be ready for digital assets

Input trims for fabrics to ensure matching is complete for manufacturing

Create Model List, Spec Sheets and Collateral for sale team and MTM Point of Sale. Direction given by Creative Director and SVP of Technical Design

Work with IT to make sure models and fabrics are set up for PGR and order entry seasonally

Fabric set up / Fabric card creation in Richter as needed (assistant to be hired to take on more data entry task)

**Skills**

Ability to multitask in fast paced environment

Highly organized & possess excellent analytical acumen

Articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills

Very detail oriented

computer skills - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, some Adobe.

Proactive

Provide solutions and recommendations as business challenges arise

Continually evaluate methods/ procedures to enhance processes

Ability to find answers through alternate means when not provided directly

Willing to take on other merchandising responsibilities not directly outlined here

Highly collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
