Reporting to the Supervisor CIP & SOC Compliance, the Compliance Coordinator position provides compliance and technical support to the CIP & SOC Compliance Team at ATCO Electric.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsibility as a requirement owner for assigned Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirement with the goal of avoiding non-compliance contraventions and penalties.
- Manage information protection program requirements
- Monitor for CIP RSAWs, updates, review compliance documentation for completeness and currency of all compliance document linkages
- Responsible for quality assurance and completeness of processes related to CIP Evidence Management for access management, training, and awareness, Personal Risk Assessment process and information protection
- Mitigation plan development and coordination for CIP standards related to access management, training and awareness, and information protection. Working with impacted requirement owners to determine suitable solutions for mitigation
- Tracking of mitigation plan progress and issues
- Management of the Compliance task tracker for all CIP related activities that must be carried out to meet various requirements of the standards
- Support annual self-certifications and AESO Audits (every three years including Self-Certification and Audit preparation, responding to information requests related to CIP requirements responsible for
- Coordination with IT service provider(s) for the collection of information to support compliance and security requirements and addressing any issues with action plans
- Subject Matter Expert and super user for compliance management software
- Facilitate, and support the adoption of CIP compliance processes to ensure efficient and effective integration between the business teams and service providers
- Assist with user orientation, training and cross-training for new employees and or contractors
- Development and management of internal cyber security and compliance webpages and SharePoint sites
- Document Management for compliance teams
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, bachelor’s in computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 - 4 years industry experience with bachelor’s degree
- Paralegal, administrator, computer or physical security, or document management experience or training preferred
- Working towards or currently have Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or PSP (Physical Security Professional), or ISO27001 certification

- Demonstrated proficiency in English written and verbal skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
- Knowledge of Alberta Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards.

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team building within the compliance team as well as various business teams
- Ability to effectively listen and seek necessary clarification to respond to a wide range of questions from internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
