The role**:
The Dealer Account Manager (DAM) assists our Dealer Channel with all sales and revenue related matters for Global Payments Dealer products. This individual works with Dealers on all product and program inquiries. Primary responsibility will be educating Dealers on product benefits, sales materials and ordering procedures. The DAM will also find and direct leads to Dealers and work with Dealer’s Merchants and Prospects to close and/or enhance overall revenue.

The DAM’s main objective is to drive and grow daily revenue with Dealers as we grow the Canadian Dealer Program. The DAM will work hand in hand with the Dealer Program Administrator in bringing in new Dealer relationships. This position has intimate knowledge of product and process, and will be capable of providing demos to Dealers/Merchants.

What you will do**:

- Be the main point of communications as Dealers sales rep - handle all calls for general sales line from Merchants and Dealers.
- Be responsible for discount requests, problems with SalesForce or the ordering process.
- Assist and/or write quotes, including writing up orders on behalf of the Dealer.
- Follow-up weekly on Dealer outliers that have open leads, sales revenue below or above norm, no or first time sales of Aux, SaaS, PaaS, assure growth and prevent decline.
- Distribution of leads, reassigning orphaned accounts to Dealers, monitor quality of leads, assign to the best dealer to close it and improve closing % overall.
- Increase and maximize total revenue in assigned areas across products.
- Interact daily on a one-on-one basis with resellers and their clients regarding opportunities on key selling points of assigned products.
- Assist Dealer in finding resources or people responsible with any day to day issues or issues that are blocking Dealer from selling, demoing or supporting individual merchants (end user).
- Help Dealers close large opportunities and create new local leads as well as monitoring Dealers’ pipelines.
- Be responsible for Dealer’s specific product item revenue and must influence and communicate progress to the Dealer.
- Assist in launches of new sellable products to all Dealers they are assigned to. This can include helping them sell the first one, getting them to training, finding resources and making sure they are comfortable selling it.
- Assign incoming retail leads received to Dealer and monitor Dealer revenue increase and decrease as well as funnel and discuss recent past performance as well as immediate future performance.
- Assist, teach and guide dealers to build revenue, reselling SaaS and PaaS and referring Card as well as assisting in determining the right local dealers to move forward with.
- May be asked to work occasional trade shows that will require travel outside their office.
- Be responsible for knowing all marketing collateral available and making sure Dealers know where to find it, how to use it and what is available.

What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with focus on Business, Sales or Marketing.
- Bilingual (French/English).
- Minimum of 5 years in an inside sales role or account/relationship management, preferably
- in the POS software industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Enjoy growing revenue.
- Highly organized with professional follow-up habits and good decision making skills.
- Enjoy problem solving and lead generation.
- Being at ease with social media.
- Preferred: Hospitality & food service and/or retail experience is helpful.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce.
- Preferred: Experience in the payment processing industry and/or software industry in a B2B context or related experience is highly valued.
