Construction Labourer

**Position**: Construction Labourer

**Location**: Projects around Southwestern Ontario, Canada

**Hours**: Full time, 5 days per week.

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install conduits, vaults, peds, etc.
- Backfill and restorations.
- Trench by hand or machine to run drops to buildings.
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Drive dump trucks and operate mini excavators.
- Safely load, unload, and transport equipment and materials between yards and job locations.
- Complete daily inspections and driver logs throughout the day.
- Understand and implement CVOR and traffic control requirements each day.
- Engage in training including health & safety and job-specific skills.

**Position Requirements**:

- Team player with a good attitude, work ethic, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety.
- G license with a clean Driver Record and CVOR. DZ license or higher is an asset.
- Experience working with underground utilities, landscaping, and operating heavy equipment is an asset.
- Physically fit; able to safely perform manual labour and work with heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and inclement weather.
- Track record demonstrating responsibility, craftsmanship, and a high degree of ownership over your work.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
