**POSITION DETAILS**
- Responsible for creating the Communications Plan for all Dorel Home
- Develop media relations plan to select, target and engage with journalists, bloggers and media spokespeople for product reviews and product placement, including online, TV shows and more
- Establish and manage communication strategy, lead times and ETA’s for deliverables
- Manage a Social Media Coordinator
- Present Communication Plans to cross-functional group of peers, upper management and our brand partners
- Manage campaign budget, including social boosted posts and negotiate with external agency partners when required
- Create and maintain social media protocols and processes, including community guidelines and editorial tone & manner guides
- Manage all social media properties and oversee the posting schedules
- Product launch - responsible for sending new items to retailer’s review program to make sure we have reviews as soon as possible
- Work in collaboration with Customer Service team for client social media escalation or crafting of customer-facing responses when required
- Work in tandem with Marketing Manager to schedule graphic design requirements when needed, including but not limited to, writing creative briefs to provide direction to design team or external resources
- Report on campaign performance (paid or organic social campaigns) and give recommendations and insights for future campaigns
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor degree in Communications or Marketing
- 6-8 years’ experience in media/public relations and social media programs
- Proven track record in launching products with a strong PR and social media focus
- Ability to pitch ideas to various stakeholders
- Self-motivated, creative, highly organized
- Autonomous, sense of initiative and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, and a strong eye for detail
- Great sense of organization and prioritization, ability to manage several projects at once and to meet tight deadlines
- Great interpersonal skills, solid team player, great ability to adapt to change
- Background with external vendors such as freelance designers and agencies
- Experience managing a team, budget and campaigns
- Proficient at social media listening and publishing apps, like HootSuite, Buffer or similar
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills

**Responsabilités**
- Responsable de la création du plan de communication pour toutes les marques de Dorel Home.

**Exigences**
- Baccalauréat en communication ou en marketing;
- 6 à 8 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des relations publiques et des programmes de médias sociaux;
- Expérience avérée dans le lancement de produits avec un fort accent sur les relations publiques et les médias sociaux;
- Capacité à présenter des idées à diverses parties prenantes;
