**THE POSITION**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable.
- Process invoices, purchase orders and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements.
- Communicate with vendors, internal teams regarding financial matters.
- Perform other duties as required to support the accounting team.

**Education and Qualifications**:

- Completion of college or other courses certified by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA) is preferred.
- Some accounting experience is required, preferably in a construction or related industry.
- Knowledge of Premier Construction Software is considered an asset.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software; knowledge of Premier Construction Software will be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
