**Accounts Payable Job Description**
**Position Overview**
As an **Accounts Payable Administrator**, you will be a vital part of our finance team, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. Your primary responsibility will be managing the company’s payables, maintaining financial records, and collaborating with vendors. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for financial accuracy, this role might be an excellent fit for you.
**Responsibilities**
- **Invoice Processing**: Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers.
- **Expense Verification**: Verify expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- **Vendor Communication**: Correspond with vendors regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment status.
- **Tax Compliance**: Prepare Workers Compasation contributions, Coperate taxes, deductions and remittance.
- **Financial Reporting**: Assist in generating reports related to payables and cash flow.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of all payables transactions.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to streamline payables processes and enhance efficiency.
- **Manage Insurance Policies.**:
- **Co-op or Student Onboarding.**:
- **Manage Phone System.**:
- **Manage Safety Program**:
- **Supporting Tasks as Required.**
**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role is preferred.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- **Software Proficiency**: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
- **Time Management**: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- **Ethics**: Handle confidential information with integrity.
