Position: Client Care Specialist

**The Role**
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- **First Impressions**:Welcoming clients and their pets to the salon with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ensuring the reception area is clean and organized.
- **Client Consultation**:Discuss grooming preferences, special needs, and any health concerns with dog owners. Provide feedback on the dog's grooming experience and offer advice on at-home care.
- **Handling Payments and Managing the Cash Register**: Cash out clients for grooming services provided as well at retail items purchased. Maintain proper balance of cash register.
- **Ensure Comfort and Safety of Pets in Waiting Area**: Minimize interactions between dogs for safety, direct clients appropriately to ensure no incidents occur in the reception area.
- **Cleaning and Sanitation**: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by sweeping and mopping floors, disinfecting tubs and tables, washing and folding towels, and disinfecting grooming tools. Maintaining a clean work environment is critical for both pet and human health and safety. Attention to detail is vital.
- **Social Media**: Photograph dogs for social media purposes. Photography skills are a definite asset, although training can be provided.
- **Qualifications**_
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role
- Knowledge of dog breeds
- Pet First-Aid certification

**Job Details**
- Full-time and Part-time positions available.
- **Pay**: 16-19 $/hr, depending on qualifications.
- **Work location**: In-Person.
