**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Supervisor, Traffic is responsible for the coordination, control and operating efficiency of the traffic and freight payable departments.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and maintain acceptable service levels.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure operating efficiency.
- Plan, direct and coordinate workflow for all department staff.
- Coordinate hiring, vacation, time, and attendance within group.
- Represent department on national care calls when required.
- Ensure storage write offs are reduced to acceptable level.
- Maintain excellent relations with vendors and carrier contacts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Analytical skills - thorough understanding of MS excel (pivot tables, filter).
- General accounting principles (credit/debit).

**WORK EXPERIENCE - MINIMUM REQUIRED**:

- 3 years of related experience**EDUCATION**:
