Some of what you will do

**Specifically, You Will**

**Onboarding New Import SKUs and Vendors**

  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new import SKUs and vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Merchandising, to ensure alignment with organizational goals

**Landed Cost Calculation**

  • Calculate and analyze the landed cost of products, considering various factors such as transportation, customs duties, and other associated expenses
  • Provide recommendations on cost-effective methods for product flow

**Ocean Freight Management**

  • Manage the ocean freight process, including booking vessels and coordinating transportation logistics
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across the supply chain
  • Provide comprehensive track and trace services for purchase orders in transit, keeping stakeholders informed of shipment statuses

**Customs Compliance**

  • Manage customs compliance and assist vendors in adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Stay informed about changes in import/export regulations and implement necessary adjustments

**Freight Invoice Review and Audit**

  • Review and audit freight invoices for accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Submit approved invoices to Accounts Payable for timely processing

**Collaboration and Support**

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Fulfillment Centers (FCs), and Third-Party Logistics (3PLs), on various initiatives
  • Provide support to the supply chain replenishment team as needed

Some of what you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field is preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of import supply chain processes
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, business or related field
  • Experience with business intelligence/decision support software
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including supply chain management systems
  • Strong customer focus, business acumen and a result-oriented attitude
