As part of our dedicated management team at Cypress Mountain, you'll be at the forefront of delivering top
- tier customer service, guiding a passionate crew, and contributing to the mountain’s growth and success.
Whether it's collaborating with other Retail Managers from across the family of Boyne Resorts, or crafting
promotions that get guests excited, you'll play a vital role in making every guest experience memorable.

**ESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**(including but not limited to the following)**:

- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and motivate a passionate team that thrives in a fast-paced, guest
- focused environment.
- Retail Strategy: Be the brand ambassador for Big Bear Sports, ensuring every detail reflects the Cypress

Mountain experience.
- Sales & Promotions: Lead creative promotions and drive sales through innovation and guest

engagement.
- Business Operations: Manage budgets, analyze performance, and exceed financial goals.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, marketing, and other Boyne Resorts Retail

locations to share best practices and build relationships.
- Guest Experience: Lead the charge in creating special offers and targeted promotions that get our

guests excited and keep the sales rolling.
- Audit-Ready Excellence: Maintain top-tier standards in organization, service, and compliance.

**QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES**:

- Passion for the Outdoors: Have 3+ years of retail management experience (preferably in outdoor

recreation, tourism, or ski resort retail).
- Leadership: You are a natural leader who can inspire and motivate your team, while also managing time

and tasks efficiently.
- Tech-Savvy: Know your way around Microsoft Office, and have a knack for navigating systems and tools

quickly. RTP experience an asset but not required.
- Organization: Thrive in a dynamic environment, juggling tasks without breaking a sweat.
- People Skills: You connect with people easily, can anticipate their needs, create a connection while

selling products that contribute to making memorable guest experiences.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:

- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license
- An insured and reliable vehicle with winter tires (no shuttle service in the off-season months)
