**The Opportunity**:
OpenText’s Global Data Privacy team is looking for a seasoned and knowledgeable Lead Privacy Analyst to join our team.

**You Are Great At**:

- Collaborate cross-functionally with technology and business stakeholders to drive, track, and resolve all aspects of privacy compliance as part of M&A activities
- Collaborate with all areas of the business to ensure** records of processing activities** are maintained
- Perform **privacy risk assessments** on products and services, building in privacy by design and default
- Perform** vendor privacy assessments** to ensure compliance with the company’s privacy standards.
- Working closely with members of the global Legal and IT teams, further **develop privacy templates** **and playbooks** ensuring continued privacy compliance across global operations
- help with setting new / revisiting privacy** policies and processes**:

- supporting privacy teams in** creating TIAs** + **Data protection impact assessments **for all cloud products.
- **Advising on International data transfers**:Research, interpret and provide guidance on international data privacy

**What It Takes**:

- Minimum 8 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment / with IT cloud provider.
- Extensive experience advising on **privacy and data protection**, with an understanding of key global privacy regimes, including GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA
- Strong drafting, analytical, and critical thinking skills as well as commercial acumen
- Experience of working with global teams based in different jurisdictions
- Good understanding of technical and information security concepts
- Excellent communication skills in English and clear communication, negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
