Family in Riverbend area seeking a caregiver to fulfill **overnight awake watch**requirements for **Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights**, supporting a person with developmental and medical disabilities.

The position is located within a private home residence.

The night shift role involves monitoring for seizure activity, checking oxygen saturation levels, assessing respiratory health, and offering supervision, personal care, and companionship during night wakings. Highly developed communication, assessment and critical thinking skills are essential.

Rate of pay is $26-$28.50 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. Start date is immediately.

**Shift sought: Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from 9:00pm to 7:00am (10hrs each)**
- **Qualifications**:_

Minimum 2 years experience with caregiving, disabilities, or healthcare. Experience with oxygen & medication administration and seizures is strongly desired. Pediatric experience an asset.

Completion of post-secondary studies in a health program (e.g., practical nurse, health care aide, disability support worker, therapy assistant, etc.) an asset. Active registration with CLPNA an asset. Private duty LPNs will be considered.
- Criminal record and vulnerable sector background checks required.
- Mastery of English required.
- Physical fitness to assist with mobility required.
- Cover letter and resume outlining interest in this role required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$28.50 per hour
