General Labour

**Over 65 years in business, KRT is the leading provider of industrial waste management** **solutions across Northern Ontario.**

Under the direction of the Dispatch Manager, the General Labourer is responsible for maintaining the highest standard of safety. Normal work hours will be Monday to Friday but based on business needs the worker may be asked to work outside of these days.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Safety of self and others.
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle heavy loads/handle heave hose etc as this job can be physically demanding.
- Working on various trucks (Vacuum Trucks, Cube Truck, etc) with various Operators on jobs as required.
- Perform any other duties which are labour intensive and elemental as directed by his/her Supervisor and at times the Plant Supervisor should there not be enough work on the driver side.
- Housekeeping in work areas.
- Communicating with Supervisors and coworkers to coordinate work and provide updates.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have CSA approved safety work boots
- Must be able to take orders and direction (all other PPE provided including weekly coveralls)
- Valid G License
- Must be able to lift up 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Proven ability to work independently while being a team player
- Must be punctual, team player, dependable, excellent oral communication skills.
- Proven commitment to safety, health and environmental standards.
- Must have your own transportation to and from work (25 Duhamel, Lively, ON) and not count on City Bus as the schedule does not work well for this location.

RATE OF PAY: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
