Commercial Account Manager

**Opportunity**: exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm with a diverse client portfolio specialized in long haul and short-haul trucking. The immediate role is to support the President and Owner of the firm in managing both small-mid-sized accounts and larger clients.
**Description**: not only will the role focus on support and service there is a Marketing aspect of the role that consists of securing and delivering the best insurance program and professional expertise that meet our client's needs. You will work with the President and select account managers to assess client risk exposures and insurance needs, including preparation of marketing submissions, binders, proposals and coordinating with our insuring partners.

**Qualifications**:
- 2-4 years Commercial Lines Insurance experience is an asset but not a requirement. If you are detailed oriented this is a great opportunity to consider.
- Strong technical insurance knowledge in the placement of insurance. Knowledge of the trucking segment is an asset but not a requirement for the right individual who is willing to learn and expand their knowledge.
- Some knowledge of specialty products a/o segment needs would be an asset (eg. Cyber, D&O, E&O, Bonding, etc.)
- RIBO Licence, active and in good standing an asset. Other industry qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc., would be considered an asset
**Skills**:
- Must be a team player, be detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic
- Must have approved and seamless remote work functionality and capability
- Adaptable to a future hybrid work environment, combining both remote work and in-office when required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and negotiation skills
- Ability to use creativity in structuring product proposals and documentation
- Advanced skills in Gmail, Excel, and Word. We utilize Copper CRM as our database and comfort with technology is an asset
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment
- Self-directed and able to coordinate multiple placements for large, multi-line accounts
- Organized with effective time management skills

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
