Physiotherapy Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist physiotherapists in providing treatment and care to patients
- Processing insurance payments.
- Perform physical therapy treatments including stretching, modalities, exercises, heating/icing, etc. Billing and accepting payment for services
- Assist with scheduling of appointments.
- And other general cleaning duties including: vacuuming, garbage and recycling etc

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform physical tasks
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation of patient progress

Occupational Health:

- Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols
- Understanding of workplace ergonomics and injury prevention strategies
- Experience in providing therapy services for work-related injuries or conditions
