**Job Summary**:
Come be part of our innovative and passionate team at **Monte Cristo Bakery** We are actively looking for **a Shipper/Receiver.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and verify incoming inventory against invoices or other documentation; check for obvious damage & shortages. Record shortages and reject damaged goods, route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Accurately stock ingredients into appropriate bins, shelves & storage racks according to standard procedures ensuring it is properly identified
- Verify orders and notify Purchasing Manager of damaged goods, backorders, and special order shipments
- Forward all Packing Slips, Waybills, Requisitions, etc, to Administration/Receiving in a timely manner
- Ensure loading dock door(s) and warehouse are secure at all times.
- Operate forklift, pallet-jack, and other aids in a safe, responsible manner. Reporting any maintenance &/or safety issues relating to these aids to Supervisor immediately
- Maintain a clean, safe, well-organized warehouse environment and notify the Supervisor of any potential safety hazards
- Assist in preparation for and participation in monthly inventory counts and pre-counts.
- Compliance with all safety standards and regulations per company policy
- Perform additional duties as assigned

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Forklift operator certificate
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
- General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment
- Ability to make decisions based on standard practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot, and problem solve
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Main warehouse is refrigerated and you will be spending a significant amount of time working in there.

Benefit: Group insurance available after 3 months

Full-Time, Monday to Friday - Hours of work: 4:30 pm - 1:00 am

Flexibility required to work the morning shift for vacation coverage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
