Responsible for directing, planning and managing EPC Wind project(s) full time, on-site. Project goals are to be reviewed and implemented in the field for the project to be completed ahead of schedule, within budget and in compliance with Company safety policies and operating processes.

The duties of the Construction Manager - Wind and Renewables will vary by client and project size with varying degrees of responsibility and authority.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Oversee all construction contracts within area of responsibility, supported by Site Teams at each geographic location or system-based area of responsibility
- Monitor and oversee construction activities and personnel within the delivery timelines, including development plans and training requirements
- Utilizes, tracks and supports project controls and management office
- Keep Superintendent and Project Manager informed of overall construction activity progress & performance along with monitoring and review of construction key performance indicators
- Provide input to constructability reviews and manages the optimum contractor involvement activities
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the MasTec’s Zero Injury principles
- Cooperate with all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times
- Act as a role model for MasTec’s Core values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with MasTec’s ways of working while encouraging other to do so as well

- Supervise & lead teams
- Manage the construction package elements of the procurement process
- Monitor contract performance against project milestones, budget and other established metrics
- Care for and sustain business relationships with multiple clients
- In collaboration with the Business Development team, share and/or follow up on potential leads and maintain client relationship in field locations
- Assist Estimating team with completion of RFP packages,
- Maintain direct communication with all construction teams from pre planning to project execution

**EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
- Construction management experience in Wind-specific projects is preferred

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera, Timberline, and Construction Software as well as, SharePoint
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts or governmental regulations
- Write reports, business correspondence and document project activities
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers and the general public
- Effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
