Skills and Responsibilities:

- The Storage Administrator is a person with the technical knowledge and experience to manage the customer environment.
- The principal responsibility of the Storage Administrator position is to plan and manage the installation, configuration, administration, and documentation of storage hardware according to best practices.
- Ensuring high levels of data quality and availability for all enterprises and customers in a 24x7 support Storage environment like Dell and Oracle Storage arrays.
- New Host Integration with Storage arrays.
- Installation and configuration of multi-path software on hosts for load balancing and fail over.
- Expertise in managing Fiber Channel SAN infrastructure including fabric architecture,switch directors and zoning.
- Experience in Implementation and management of Dell,Oracle enterprise and mid-tier Storage subsystems.
- Experience in RAID Configurations and Disk management tools.
- Experience in Performing Health Check of storage arrays and switches.
- Experience in Performing storage allocation based on the server requirement.
- Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis of Storage arrays.
- Experience in remote replication and local replication concepts.
- Troubleshoot issues directly or indirectly related to storage systems from an end-to-end perspective.
- Manage, monitor and optimize enterprise-wide storage capacity to ensure available capacity where expected.
- Experience in administering Windows 2000/2003/2008/2012 Servers. Windows 2016 server would be an added advantage.
- Configuring different Storage devices to help Clients to Backup their Data in the most efficient way, that will help them to Restore the Mission Critical Data as and when required.
- Installations& Configurations of Backup master and media servers.
- Implementation of Backup in a Cluster Environment.
- Implementation of Backup in a SAN environment.
- Configuration of different types of Robotic Library.Configuring Storage Units, Volume Pools & Disk Staging

Pay: $50,164.61-$105,440.23 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- system administration: 1 year (preferred)
