Manager Accounting and Tax

**Responsibilities**:
- Reviewing Notice to Reader/Compilation engagements in accordance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE);
- Reviewing personal and corporate income tax returns in compliance with the Income Tax Act (ITA);
- Reviewing other regulatory filings as needed (i.e., T4, T5, GST/HST, PST, UHT, EHT);
- Corresponding with partners, junior accountants, government agencies, and clients;
- Working under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, and resolving client issues in a timely manner;
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of ASPE and ITA; and
- Other duties, as assigned.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or completion of CFE;
- 3 years of relevant public practice experience in accounting and tax;
- Exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; and
- Ability to effectively manage multiple engagements simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
