Requisition ID: 164913 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. *** The **Manager, Global Banking and Markets AML Risk Product Advisory LATAM** is responsible to contribute and support to all lines of defense across the GBM AML Risk portfolio in the PAC countries and Brazil to ensure GBM / business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in accordance with governing AML/ATF regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. This role will work with stakeholders from all three lines of defense, including GBM business units across the various jurisdictions, GBM Onboarding, GBM AML Internal Controls, Financial Intelligence Units and Internal Audit. **What you'll be doing in this role**: - Act as the primary contact for LATAM based business lines and second line functions with GBM related queries. - Contribute to establish the interaction model with GBM-AML teams in LATAM estabishing open comunication with the AML responsables en each country - Support the local business line in development of first line of defence AML/ATF controls - Identify unacceptable AML/ATF risk, collaborating with local front-line and proactively managing and escalating these situations; - Work with the local GBM AML Risk teams to provide policy guidance and interpretation to business and functional partners; and - Attend weekly meetings with direct manager to update on emerging issues, progress of initiatives and trends in the GBM units under oversight. - Participate as a delegate in meetings, forums and committees where applicable. - Contribute to the preparation of presentation decks for monthly meetings related to GBM in LATAM and the quarterly report to the management if required. - Contribute with the implementation of GBM AML Risk policies reflecting the Enterprise-wide AML/ATF and Sanctions Policies. - Assist and guide the development of consolidated AML/ATF MIS for Business Units - Remain up to date on regulatory change in LATAM impacting relevant AML/ATF policies. - Track responses and plans to remediate issues raised by AML Audits and regulatory examinations. - Actively participates in the annual risk assessment processes in relation to LATAM by providing guidance and effective challenge of the local assessment. **We'd love to work with you if you have**: - Minimum of 3-5 years in financial services operations and AML/ATF compliance; - Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience; - ACAMS certified preferred; - Spanish speaking required; - Strong communications, analytical and organizational skills; - Strong knowledge of GBM businesses, products, operations, systems, and organization; and - Strong Knowledge of AML/ATF regulatory requirements and expectations.
