Your Opportunity:
This Dialysis Technician II position will be based in Lethbridge to support the Lethbridge In-Center Hemodialysis and Home Program. This position will also support the Hemodialysis Units located in Fort MacLeod and Blairmore. The Dialysis Technician will support the in-center water treatment equipment, portable water treatment equipment, hemodialysis machines and other HD equipment for the Hemodialysis Units and Home Program. This position will require the Dialysis Technician to work closely with the CE Renal Support team and HD clinical team.
Description:
As a Dialysis Technician II, you will provide an advanced level of technical knowledge and work. You will maintain and repair all dialysis and related equipment used in the process of hemodialysis. You will requisition parts, supplies and equipment needed to service the dialysis equipment and participate in equipment evaluations and training programs. You will be responsible for some staff and patient education and will be a technical resource for all renal staff.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of an accredited 3 year Electronic or Biomedical Engineering Technology program or equivalent combination of related education or training may be considered. Completion of an accredited Biomedical Electronics Technology or Electronics Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Technical training on water treatment systems including portable water treatment equipment. Technical training on hemodialysis machines used for in-center treatments and in a home program environment.
