Quality Management Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Management Assistant supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems and processes at the RMC. This role is responsible for assisting with audits, maintaining quality documentation, monitoring compliance, and supporting corrective actions.
- Support the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS).
- Assist with internal audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, procedures, and records.
- Monitor non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in the preparation of quality reports, metrics, and analysis.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Quality Mangement Representative and wider team.
- Support training and awareness initiatives related to quality standards.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure compliance with ISO, defense, and customer requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Education or training in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or other quality standards is an asset.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with QMS software is an asset.
- Must be eligible for and able to obtain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
