We have an opening for a Quality Control Inspector. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QC Inspector is responsible for overseeing product/component quality. The QC Inspector is also responsible for identifying and reporting nonconformance where specifications and/or requirements have not been fulfilled.

**Quality Control Inspector**

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Verify documentation requirements relating to incoming material.
- Ensure reference documents are current and available for use (i.e. standards, specifications, drawings).
- Perform quality control activities on machined parts, verify and record dimensions, first-off and in process inspection.
- Identify nonconforming material/parts and ensure suitable control including appropriate corrective measures.
- Document product and process issues and determine disposition of nonconforming items, including necessary corrective or preventive actions.
- Ensure inspection and test equipment are suitable for use.
- Manage and coordinate measuring equipment calibrations.
- Ensure measuring and testing equipment are calibrated in accordance with nationally or internationally recognized standards.
- Communicate departmental performance and engage relevant stakeholders with improvement initiatives.
- Maintain records in accordance with established procedures, which may include paper and/or electronic methods.
- Assist with other QC related tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 - 5 years in Quality Control Capacity.
- Familiar with Operational & QC Inspection Procedures and Calibration Process in Accordance with National /International Standards.
- The individual must be able to read, visualize and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material and calibrate common measuring devices.
- Organized, analytical, detail oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
