JOB SUMMARY:
The Housekeeper is responsible for performing general housekeeping activities, adhering to established guidelines for health and safety, infection control, and quality management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Receive assignments, assemble the required materials and supplies, load the service cart, and transport it to the work area.
- Utilize specified cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing agents while following specific procedures, work patterns, and routines to perform tasks, including but not limited to:

- Cleaning resident rooms according to the assigned schedule.
- Sweeping and dry/wet mopping floors.
- Vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
- Spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors.
- Dusting and sanitizing/disinfecting furniture, shelves, woodwork, and other surfaces.
- Emptying wastebaskets.
- Daily cleaning and disinfecting of all bathroom floors, fixtures, walls, and replenishing supplies.
- Ensuring the privacy of residents during the performance of duties.
- Final cleaning of suites for new occupants.
- Organizing, changing, and washing linens.
- Cleaning and sanitizing common areas throughout the day, as required.
- Performing other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and write in English and follow written instructions.
- Good understanding of the use of chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.th residents and staff.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $18.12 per hour
