**The Opportunity**

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all activities related to AGI’s supply chain, from sourcing to distribution, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This includes managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory, and optimizing logistics to meet customer needs and minimizing risks.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead or support the implementation of cost reduction initiatives
- Negotiate price reductions with suppliers
- Lead and motivate the team, set goals, and delegate tasks
- Ensure suppliers remain compliant to commitments
- Identify supply chain risks and develop strategy to minimize impacts
- Develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances
- Support the business unit with appropriate sourcing strategies
- Work with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, customers) to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 5 + years in a Purchasing/Procurement role (Industry experience preferred)
- Previous management experience considered an asset
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Understand applicable Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures in the workplace
- Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor/manager and/or a JHSC member immediately
- Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage to your supervisor/manager and/or a JHSC member immediately
- You may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, high visibility vests, etc.).
