Job Description: Forklift Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload trucks or containers using a forklift or other equipment
- Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment, reporting any defects or issues
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Valid forklift operator certification or license
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

**Salary**: $16.25-$21.63 per hour
