Forklift Operator (Raymond Reach)/Material Handler
CMP Group Ltd., a leading provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Driver on a full-time permanent basis for the Vaughn location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safe operation of forklifts and equipment used in material handling (80% Forklift operation)
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure productivity, quality and proper distribution of material for timely production
- Locate and verifying materials/supplies listed on production orders and ensure production lines have production materials; maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials/supplies
- Maintain inventory; identify, label, and place materials/supplies in stock and record inventory location
- Prepare finished stock for shipment and document product shipment by recording units shipped
- Maintain measuring equipment, inspection fixtures and visual aids and maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and make operator repairs
- Promote safe work practices as outlined in the Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act and ensure company’s quality policies and procedures are adhered
- Ensure warehouse and work area is free from obstructions, neat, clean and in orderly condition
- Perform quality inspections and cycle counts as required
- Participate in training as required
- Other duties assigned

**Requirements**:

- 1 year shipping/receiving experience
- 6 months to 1 year Raymond reach forklift experience
- Valid Raymond reach forklift license
- Counter balance, order picker and experience using various forklift operator experience (asset)
- RF scanner experience
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.
- Eagar to work, reliable, dependable, team player, safety mindset and prioritizing skills
- Safety boots

Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift - 3:30pm-12am on the 3rd week after 2 weeks training from 10am - 6:30pm

**Salary**: $19.50 per hour
