**Summary**:
**Location**: 25 De Baets St., Winnipeg (hybrid position). Will require you to be on-site for work-from-the-office days.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
- Communication to project sponsor, champion, stakeholders and project team members.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare estimates and project budget.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
- Utilize PPM Pro for project reporting and tracking of finances and resources.
- Prepare status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives.
- Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in project and portfolio management.
- Mentor and coach Project Managers as requested.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent combined relevant work experience and certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Scrum Master certification preferred
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Project Management with experience managing IT projects being an asset

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Ability to lead and motivate others, demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (for example, PMI and agile)
- Demonstrated sensitivity to working in an entrepreneurial environment and interacting with senior leadership
- Knowledge of project planning tools such as PPMP Pro, JIRA
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Expertise in setting and managing stakeholder expectations
- Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources
- Understanding of business needs with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time
