Hammerhead Resources (“HHR”) is a Calgary, Alberta based public exploration and production company focused on the development and delineation of its ~107,000 net acre, contiguous asset base within the light-oil and liquid-rich windows of the Montney formation. **Project Manager, Facilities**
(Contractor / Temporary Employee)
**Reports to**: Manager, Facilities and Alternative Energy
**Location**: Based in Calgary, Alberta
**Ideal Start Date**:ASAP
**Primary Accountability**:
Reporting to the Manager, Facilities & Alternative Energy the Project Manager, Facilities works in collaboration with various stakeholders and departments to assess and recommend facility requirements that support the ongoing plans for the company. As a facilities expert, this individual will oversee the planning and implementation of facilities projects while aligning various stakeholders within and external to Hammerhead Resources. This role is based in Calgary Alberta with required travel to field sites.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work in collaboration with the development team to identify and plan for facilities requirements. This includes preparation of designs, drawings project schedules and budget related to the project.
- Identify and oversee facilities project management including risk analysis, economic considerations, cost estimates, scheduling and deliverables.
- Work in collaboration with operations on MOC’s, and process related issues.
- Partner with the procurement team to assess and select vendors for equipment and services related to facilities projects.
- Management of the project team including suppliers, construction and engineering firms while ensuring quality control and safety are priority at all times.
- Monitor project progress through regular reporting and evaluating on deliverables.
- Other accountabilities as assigned.
**Requirements and Key Competencies**:
- A minimum of 10 years of directly related experience coupled with a current P.Eng. designation with APEGA
- Background of field oil and gas experience as well as proven project management experience is an asset.
- Open and honest team player with a reliable commitment to seeing each task through to completion, self-driven with a positive attitude and desire for continuous learning.
