Reporting to the Director of Accommodation, the Reception Supervisors, and the Controller, the Night Auditor verifies the business transactions made throughout the day to balance the accounts and deposits, and to close the cash registers, while also ensuring customer service at the reception during the evening and overnight shifts. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Training may also be required by the employer.

**Task description**:

- Classify commercial transactions carried out during the day
- Verify and correct transaction records and update hotel guest notes
- Balance the accounts and close the cash registers of the various points of sale
- Produce the daily income report
- Answer the phone and route incoming calls
- Take reservations
- Perform departures and arrivals
- Manage reservations and group arrivals
- Collaborate with the security department
- Handle customer complaints
- Other administrative and/or accounting tasks

**Skills**:

- Experience in reception and hospitality (one year)
- Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of Hotello (an asset)
- Strong understanding of accounting
- Excellent command of both French and English
- Excellent communication skills and a talent for customer service
- Good knowledge of Montreal's tourist attractions
- Well-groomed appearance
- Demonstrates patience, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and reliability

**Languages**:Bilingualism (French and English) is required in this position because we serve an international clients.

**Availability and schedule**:From Friday evening to Sunday morning.
