- **About this role**:

- **As a Funeral Attendant at** **Gray's Funeral Chapel, located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan** you will have the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service to the families we serve by providing support to Funeral Directors in all aspects of funeral services, including: greeting and assisting families upon their arrival at the funeral home, assisting the Funeral Director on services, and driving funeral vehicles when required.
- **Job Type**: Part Time, Permanent, On-call
- **Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities**:

- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills with the ability to partner will all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Exemplifies Arbor’s values of compassion, integrity, trust, teamwork and excellence.
- Demonstrates active community involvement and establishes a positive profile of the Funeral Home within the community.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract is a mandatory requirement for this position.-

Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist families upon their arrival at the funeral home
- Arrange the transfer of decedent to the funeral home or crematorium as required.
- May assist with the dignified and safe transfer of a deceased to the care of the funeral home.
- Assist with the preparation of various rooms, during visitations, various rituals, funeral services, burials and any other task related.
- Drive funeral vehicles when required by the funeral home.
- Perform general building upkeep and ensures the proper maintenance of funeral service vehicles including washing, interior care, cleaning, polishing, general vehicle maintenance including scheduling and service care plans.
