**Logistics & Import Coordinator**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Import Coordinator to manage the logistics of our international and domestic product shipments. This role is crucial as we expand into the U.S. market, ensuring smooth operations for imports and exports across multiple countries, including Canada and the U.S.

**Responsibilities**:
**International Freight & Logistics Management**
- Coordinate shipments from overseas factories to North America.
- Work with freight forwarders to ensure efficient transportation of goods.
- Optimize shipping methods for cost-efficiency and timely delivery.
- Track shipments to guarantee on-time arrivals.

**Customs Clearance & Compliance**
- Manage customs clearance processes for North American entries.
- Collaborate with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.).
- Handle customs bonds and duty payments efficiently.
- Stay informed about changing customs regulations and ensure compliance with trade agreements and tariffs.

**Bonded Warehouse Management**
- Coordinate the storage of goods in bonded warehouses as part of the import process.
- Manage the release and entry of goods from bonded warehouses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize the use of bonded warehouses to defer tax payments and reduce logistics costs.

**Cross-Border Shipments (Canada-U.S. & Vice Versa)**
- Supervise customs paperwork and clearance for shipments moving between Canada and the U.S.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. CBP and Canada Border Services Agency requirements.
- Manage documentation for temporary imports, duty drawbacks, and tax considerations.

**Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination**
- Align logistics timelines with inventory planning in collaboration with internal teams.
- Support warehousing and distribution logistics for smooth goods movement.
- Implement best practices to reduce shipping costs and enhance supply chain efficiency.

**Skills & Experience**:

- 3-7 years of experience in logistics, customs compliance, or international shipping, preferably in a retail or fashion environment.
- Profound knowledge of customs procedures for Canada, the U.S., and international imports.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, shipping carriers, customs brokers, and bonded warehouses.
- Familiar with CBSA, CBP, and other relevant trade regulations.
- Knowledge of duty drawbacks, free trade agreements (e.g., USMCA/CUSMA), tariff classifications, and the strategic use of bonded warehouses.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Excel, logistics tracking software, and customs reporting tools.

**Bonus Qualifications**:

- Background in retail or apparel industry logistics.
- Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software.
- Multilingual capabilities, especially in languages spoken in key manufacturing countries (e.g., Mandarin).
- Background in risk management and mitigation in the supply chain.
- Advanced certification in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)).
