- We are currently looking for Co-op Students pursuing their CPA designation to join our Accounting team located in Winnipeg, MB. As a CPA Student you will have the opportunity to develop studied skills, gain hands on accounting experience and grow your industry knowledge as you pursue your designation. As a leader in the industry, Richardson is proud to be one of the first accredited employers in Manitoba to support new grads in attaining their CPA designation.- Responsibilities:- Develop skills through independent and team work
- Perform tasks in various aspects of the accounting cycle
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries and business analysis- Qualifications:- University students majoring in Accounting, pursuing CPA requirements
- Results-oriented self-starters
- Independent and team-oriented workers
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks, handling deadlines, and using Microsoft Excel- Richardson works to ensure that individuals’ formal education and training will be enhanced through exposure to various aspects of the accounting cycle (e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial statement preparation, contract management, costing and month end accounting and reporting).- Did you know that:- Co-op students often return or are hired permanently after graduation
- Richardson hires up to 15 Accounting students each term
- Students who have moved into permanent roles gain diverse business experience and skills by working in multiple areas
